Coins Delivered in a Mail Parcel!

I recently received an amazing package in the mail from a fellow blogger and bank teller, Ben, over at The Wealth Gospel. I knew he was sending something because he emailed me a few weeks ago, but I expected maybe 4-5 coins. Instead, I received 75! Happy birthday to me! 🙂

I spent a good hour or two sorting through all of them (as I’m sure any of you would), and here’s what I found:

(Unfortunately, I already had those penny slots filled in my Blue Book, but it was still a lot of fun!)

Here are the coins that really caught my attention, listed by my favorites:

[On the left, you can see those thick ridged edges on the Hong Kong 5 Dollars coin, and on the right, there’s the Brazilian “Jesus” coin ;)]

While there weren’t any hidden treasures here— I think the most valuable non-modern coin was worth about $1.00—getting a box of coins in the mail is exciting no matter what’s inside. Half the fun is just opening it up and exploring what you’ve received! Thank you again, Ben. You’ve made this collector truly happy. I’ll keep a few and pass the rest on to others who will appreciate them…

Stay tuned for our next post! Hopefully, another package will arrive soon for me to enjoy…
