Personalized Coin Display!

Hello, fellow coin enthusiasts!

I recently got my hands on a fantastic tool and thought I’d share it with you all!

It’s a custom coin board crafted by a friend of mine, designed to make sorting coins a breeze. He’s a big fan of foreign coins and often sorts through pounds of coin bags, but he couldn’t find the perfect setup for sorting while watching TV.

So, what does a skilled carpenter do in this situation? Naturally, he heads to his workshop and creates one himself!

And what a masterpiece it is! It’s a perfectly sized tray with 5 rows and 10 slots, ideal for sorting coins comfortably while relaxing on the couch.

I can vouch for its efficiency, as I’ve been trying it out myself. [Sorting through pennies from a collection I was reviewing] [It’s super easy to sort them by decade—or even by year!] [Organizing modern change] [Close-up of coins—the slots are tall enough to hold plenty!] [Another close-up…] [Arranging Morgans by year!] [It’s beautiful and simple.]

My friend demonstrated one of these boards at our coin club meeting, and when I asked how I could get one, his response was the classic: “What do you have to trade?” 😉

Fast forward, and now he’s the owner of a few early 20th-century type coins, and I have this amazing coin board featured here! It’s a win-win!

There are so many ways to use this board, and the best part: it makes storing and transporting coins much easier.

Since we don’t always have endless time for our coin collections, this board allows us to make use of even a short 15-minute break or a full hour. You can dive into your hobby and easily pick up where you left off without needing to clear tables or use bags or jars. Just pull out the tray from a safe spot, and you’re ready to sort again!

This board makes sorting a lot more enjoyable and comfortable. A huge thanks to my friend for giving me one of his creations and providing me with a tool that I’ll treasure for many years to come.

Happy collecting!

P.S. If anyone is interested in getting a board, let me know, and I’ll see if my friend is up for making more. Just be ready to offer something in return! 😉
