Personalized Coin Display Board!

Personalized Coin Display Board!

Hello Coin Enthusiasts!

I recently got my hands on a fantastic tool that I had to share with all of you!

It’s a custom coin board crafted by a friend to make sorting a breeze. Isn’t that awesome? My friend is passionate about foreign coins and often sorts through heavy bags of them, but he struggled to find the right setup while relaxing in front of the TV.

So, what does a carpenter do in such a situation? He heads to his workshop and builds one for himself!

The result is stunning! It’s a perfectly sized tray with 5 rows and 10 slots—ideal for sorting coins right from the comfort of your couch while enjoying your hobby.

I’ve been testing it myself, sorting through pennies from a collection I’m evaluating. It makes it so easy to organize them by decade—or even year!

My friend showcased one of these boards during a coin club presentation, and when I inquired about getting one, he playfully asked, “What do you have for trade?” 😉

One thing led to another, and he now owns a few early 20th-century type coins while I’m the proud owner of the coin board featured here! What a great swap!

This board opens up so many possibilities, and as a bonus, it makes storing and transporting coins a lot easier too!

Because, as much as we’d love to spend hours with our coin collections, life doesn’t always allow it. Whether you have 15 minutes or an hour, you can jump right in and come back to it later without having to clear tables or search for bags or jars. Just fetch the tray from a safe spot, and you’re ready to dive back in!

It’s made sorting so much more fun and comfortable, so a huge thanks to my friend for both gifting me one of these creations and providing a tool I’ll cherish for years to come.

Happy collecting!

PS: If anyone else wants a board, let me know, and I’ll check if he’s up for making more. Just be ready to offer something in exchange! 😉
