Hey everyone! I just got my hands on an awesome new silver coin that was released this week exclusively from APMEX.com: the 2015 3/4 oz Silver Canadian Grey Wolf coin. It’s pretty impressive!
Following our tradition from when the silver Australian Great White Shark coin was released, we’re giving away this coin to one lucky winner. Make sure to read all the way through for your chance to win and add this to your collection! Aside from its collector’s value, this coin is crafted from pure silver, so it will always hold some value (and since it’s an official $2.00 Canadian coin, you can technically spend it too!).
Here’s a bit about the coin from APMEX:
The Grey Wolf, once nearly extinct, has made an incredible comeback in North America. Now, this legendary creature is captured in silver. Made exclusively for APMEX by the Royal Canadian Mint, this unique 3/4 oz Silver bullion coin showcases a lone wolf howling in the forest, symbolizing bravery and strength. With .9999 fine silver, this remarkable tribute is among the purest coins available.
I also ventured into making my first video blog, where I filmed myself unboxing and seeing the coin for the first time. It was quite fun, although I was winging it!
You can see how substantial it looks:
You can currently buy it directly from APMEX for about $17.00 (they price it at roughly $2.59 over the current “spot” price of $17.38 for 1 oz at the time of writing). This 3/4 oz coin is a bit unusual, but hey—it has a wolf on it!
If you want to get your hands on one, you can purchase it from APMEX right away, or you can try your luck with our giveaway! Follow the instructions below to enter:
And that’s it! You’re entered. We’ll run the giveaway for a week, ending on Friday, October 24th at midnight. Sadly, it’s open to U.S. residents only because mailing to Canada is oddly costly considering it’s their coin!
Happy collecting!

P.S.: If you’re wondering about the rough drawing on my left arm in the video, it’s a draft of an anchor tattoo I’m thinking about getting. I like to sketch them on my body first to see how I feel. So far, I’ve only committed to a permanent one once!
