I’m going through a friend’s collection and came across this double-sided coin holder!

It’s both the ugliest and the prettiest coin holder I’ve ever seen! LOL…

It looks like it should open from both ends, but unfortunately, it only opens from one. However, if you remove the blue sponge, you can slip a coin in from the other end, put the sponge back, and then place a coin in the front. Voilà – a double-sided coin holder!

I burst out laughing when my friend said I could keep it, but now I’m actually considering it. It’s unusually large, but it’s growing on me. You never know what treasures you’ll find when going through other people’s stuff! Haha…

I’ll blog soon about the entire collection. My friend asked me to evaluate it and then sell it off – sounds fun!

P.S.: I used Google Lens to try and find a match for this holder, but no luck. All I found was a bunch of makeup and colorful sand that looked surprisingly similar 😂. I’m guessing this holder is from the ’60s or ’70s – it’s definitely old school!
