The Type of Letter I Adore :)

As I continue my safe excavation, I’m uncovering all sorts of lost treasures ready for a fresh round of appreciation!

This time, I came across a note from my fellow blogger at DoneByForty.com, who kindly sent me this last year. I owe him an apology for sitting on it even longer—sorry about that, buddy!

To make up for it, I urge everyone reading this to visit his site and give his stats a boost! Haha… While you’re there, check out how he plans to retire early by the age of 40. Exciting stuff!

Now, back to what’s attached to this wonderful find: coins from Uruguay, Argentina, and Peru. That panther coin is amazing!

I’m thinking about starting a collection with one coin from every country worldwide. It’s something people have done for decades, but I’m not sure if I need another project right now. Is anyone else attempting this?

For those intrigued, here’s a fun article: http://typesets.wikidot.com/themes:ofec

Apparently, it’s called OFEC collecting (One From Every Country). These folks even provide downloadable flags and country lists, which you can use with 2×2 holders. A neat idea that makes diving into this hobby quite simple!

I’ll keep you updated on more packages found in my cluttered safe.

There are definitely worse surprises to stumble upon in there, right? 🙂
